The scholarship distribution ceremony for freshmen and meritorious students of Bangladesh Home Economics College, a constituent institution of Dhaka University, was held on Thursday at TSC Auditorium.
The scholarship distribution ceremony for freshmen and meritorious students of Bangladesh Home Economics College, a constituent institution of Dhaka University, was held on Thursday at TSC Auditorium.
Dhaka University Pro-Vice Chancellor (Admin) Prof Dr. Saima Haque Bidisha spoke as the chief guest at the ceremony.
The event was presided over by Dr. Mohammad Abu Yusuf, Acting Chairman of the College's Governing Body and Professor of the Department of Development Studies, Dhaka University, and Dean of the Faculty of Biology, Professor Dr. Md. Enamul Haque, was present as a special guest.
At the event, 10 meritorious students of two years of 5 departments of Home Economics were awarded 'Chairman's Award' and 3 meritorious students were awarded 'Professor Harun Quader Md. Yusuf' scholarship. Later, a delightful cultural program was presented by the students.
