Relief materials distributed among disaster-affected families in Ramgarh

Emergency relief items have been distributed among disaster-affected families in Ramgarh Patachhara Union of Khagrachhari.
Relief materials were distributed at the Patachhara Union Parishad premises on Monday in the presence of Ramgarh UNO Kazi Shamim.
Three metric tons of rice were distributed among 150 families at the rate of 20 kg per family. In addition, dry food packages were provided to fourteen families. The dry food package includes 10 kg of rice, 1 kg of lentils, 1 kg of iodized salt, 1 kg of sugar, half a kg of muri, 1 liter of soybean oil, 6 candles, 2 matches, 2 large-sized packets of biscuits, 2 packets of food saline and 10 water purification tablets with instructions for use. So far, 127 families have been provided with dry food packages and 154 families with 20 kg of rice, a total of 281 families have been provided relief assistance.
Ramgarh UNO Kazi Shamim said that the relief activities of the upazila administration will continue.
Upazila BNP President Md. Jasim Uddin, Municipal BNP President Bahar Uddin, Upazila BNP Organizing Secretary (2) Alim Ullah, Patachhara UP Secretary Russell Rana, officials, employees, members, local elite were present.
