Rally, discussion meeting held in Barishal to celebrate Global Handwashing Day

With the slogan "Be a hero of hand washing" today, Wednesday at 11 am, a rally and discussion meeting and hand washing techniques were organized by the District Administration and Public Health Engineering Department, Barishal at Circuit House Conference Room to celebrate World Hand Washing Day. The chief guest was Deputy Commissioner, Barisal Mohammad Delwar Hossain.
The program was presided over by Executive Engineer, Public Health Engineering Department, Barisal Division, Md. Imran Tarafdar. The special guests were Superintendent of Police, Barisal Mohammad Sharif Uddin, District Primary Education Officer, Barisal Mohammad Mostafa Kamal, Civil Surgeon Director, Manjurul Elahi, Assistant Director of Social Services, Sajjad Parvez, and representatives of various development organizations and well-wishers.
Deputy Commissioner, Barishal Mohammad Delwar Hossain inaugurated the rally by releasing a balloon festoon from the Circuit House premises. From there, the rally circled various important roads and ended at the Circuit House.
Later, hand washing techniques were taught in collaboration with Saint Bangladesh.
