The district's journalist community has taken to the streets to demand the implementation of division to take Noakhali, which is rich in history and tradition and has immense potential, to the highest peak of prosperity. "The announcement of Noakhali division is the demand of the hour," the journalist community of Noakhali, politicians and ordinary people of all classes and professions are vocal in their demand.

On Wednesday  at 11 am, journalists working in Noakhali gathered in a human chain on the road in front of the Noakhali Deputy Commissioner's office to demand the implementation of the division. After the human chain, a memorandum was handed over to the Noakhali Deputy Commissioner along with the Chief Advisor.

Moderated by Shahadat Babu, district Correspondent  of Daily Janakantha, and presided over by Professor Liaquat Ali Khan, district representative of Boishakhi Television, during the human chain, educationist Ishaq Khandaker, Ameer of Noakhali District Jamaat-e-Islami, participated in the human chain to express solidarity with the logical demand for the implementation of the division, during which he delivered a brief speech.

In the human chain organized, journalist leaders presented strong demands for the implementation of the division in their speeches. The speakers said that Noakhali is a 200-year-old district, the previous government and some of their bureaucrats have systematically deprived this larger district of development. Today, the people of this region are understanding that. That is why the logical demand for the division is shaking the government today. The people of this development-deprived region want to accelerate the development of this region by implementing the division. 

Noakhali is the richest district of the country, with the help of renowned politicians, intellectuals, government bureaucrats, remittance fighters, fishermen, and agricultural people. Every inch of this region is full of potential. 

The speakers also said that some misguided youths of Comilla want to block the Dhaka-Noakhali regional highway, they do not know that the people of Noakhali are present across the country and all over the world. If the people of Noakhali want, they can bring the whole country to a standstill.
