
Rajshahi Education Board HSC result published: Pass rate 59.40, none passes from 35 colleges, girls ahead of boys

In the 2025 HSC examination of the Rajshahi Education Board, 1,34,143 students from 750 colleges under 207 centers participated in the HSC examination. Out of these, 67,570 are male students and 63,317 are female students.
The result shows a pass rate of 59.40. This is the lowest in the last 7 years. Last year, the pass rate was 81.24, the year before that it was 78.46, 81.60 in 2022, 97.29 in 2021, 97.29 in 2020, 100% in 2020 (auto pass during the Corona period) and 76.38% in 2019.
This year, the number of students who passed is 77,742. The male pass rate is 50.59 and the female pass rate is 68.69. The number of students who obtained GPA 5 is 10,137. Of these, the number of male students is 4455 and the number of female students is 5682. The number of expelled examinees is 13. 32,638 people failed in 1 subject.
The number of colleges where no students passed is 35 and the number of colleges with 100% pass rate is 18.

The Chairman of the Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Rajshahi, Prof A.N.M. Mofakhkharul Islam announced the results in his office on Thursday morning.
At this time, Secretary of the Board of Education, Professor Dr. Shamim Ara Chowdhury, Controller of Examinations, Professor Ariful Islam, Deputy Controller of Examinations (Certificates and Records) Md. Munjur Rahman Khan, Information and Public Relations Officer Sultana Shamima Nais and others were present.
