Allegations of harassment based on false allegations have been raised in Koyra, Khulna

Jahangirnagar University student and student representative Mosharraf Hossain Ratul made this complaint in a written statement at a press conference at Koyra Upazila Press Club on Saturday.

In his written statement he said that I am a student of Jahangirnagar University. On Wednesday, October 23, we organized a march and rally to demand the ban of the Chhatra League and the resignation of President Chuppu on the initiative of the anti-discrimination student movement. I spoke as a student representative in the assembly.

I speak against some of the bad journalists of Koyra police station there. Those who harassed the public together with the Awami Supporter before August 5. Taking money from people, unjustly arrested with BNP, Jamaat Shibir tags, looting, extortion, etc. were involved in various misdeeds.

He also said that in his continuation, he should highlight some of the misdeeds of journalist Sirajuddaula Lincoln. After the procession in the evening, we all went home. But the journalist Sirajuddaula Lincoln claims that under my leadership his house was attacked in the evening, and various loots took place which is completely false, baseless, fabricated information.

This is a completely planned, deliberate, attempt to discredit the banner of the anti-discrimination student movement and to cover up the misdeeds of their involvement in corruption in various offices and courts. Moreover, the representatives of some newspapers have defamed me by publishing news without verifying the truth.

Journalists are the mirror of society. But when they move away from the place of ethics and start flattering, party favoritism, it is nothing but un-journalism in the name of journalism.
