 Jashore District Police convened its monthly welfare meeting at the Police Lines Drill Shed on Tuesday morning to evaluate operational performance, review administrative applications, and recognize outstanding service among force members.

Jashore Superintendent of Police Syed Rofiqul Islam, PPM-Seba, presided over the meeting, which commenced at 8:30 am.

During the session, police personnel across all ranks presented their professional and operational welfare applications directly to the Superintendent of Police. SP Syed Rofiqul Islam reviewed the submissions and provided immediate administrative resolutions for several grievances raised by duty officers and personnel.

As part of the proceedings, the Superintendent of Police awarded performance accolades to 51 police and non-police personnel across various designations for exceptional duty execution. Md. Abu Sayeed, OC  of Manirampur Police Station, was honored as the Best OC for August 2026. Additionally, SI (Unarmed) Md. Kamal Hossain of the District Intelligence Branch (DB) and ASI (Unarmed) Mizanur Rahman of Kotwali Model Police Station were recognized as the Best SI and Best ASI for September 2026, respectively.

The ceremony also included a formal farewell reception honoring four retiring personnel of the Jashore District Police as they transitioned into Post-Retirement Leave (PRL).

Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration and Finance) Md. Rajibul Islam conducted the welfare meeting. The event was attended by Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime and Ops) Md. Mirajul Islam, PPM-Seba; Additional Superintendent of Police (DSB) Md. Sakhawat Hossain; Assistant Superintendent of Police (Manirampur Circle) Imdadul Huq; alongside the Police Hospital Medical Officer, DIO-1, Officers-in-Charge of all district police stations, Court Inspectors, Traffic Inspectors (Administration), and officers of various ranks within the district force.
