Partner Congress held in Birampur

The Partner Congress was held in Birampur under the Program on Agricultural and Rural Transformation for Nutrition, Entrepreneurship and Resilience in Bangladesh (PARTNERS) in the fiscal year 2025-26.
The Partner Congress was held at the Upazila Parishad auditorium on Thursday, organized by the Upazila Agriculture Officer's office. In addition, an exhibition with several stalls was organized on the premises of the Agriculture Office to provide an idea of the various activities of the Partner Project.
Upazila Agriculture Officer Krishibid Kamal Krishna Roy delivered the welcome speech at the Partner Congress. Other speakers included Upazila Executive Officer Tanzina Khatun, District Training Officer of the Department of Agricultural Extension Shah Alam Miah, Cooperative Officer Rakibul Islam, General Secretary of the Municipal BNP Rezaul Karim Reju, and others.
Farmers from various levels, including the marginal areas of the upazila, agricultural entrepreneurs, public representatives, journalists, officials from various departments of the upazila council, and local dignitaries participated in the Partner Congress.
Speakers at the Partner Congress said that the Partner Project is working to expand modern agricultural technology and formulate and implement steps for good agricultural practices. Various trainings are being provided to farmers at the field level through the Partner Project. The Department of Agricultural Extension is working relentlessly to build a modern agriculturally prosperous Bangladesh.
