Final preparations meeting on Binoybanshi Jaldas' 115th birth anniv held in Boalkhali

The Binaybanshi Shilpi Gosthi held a final preparation and responsibility sharing meeting to celebrate the 115th birth anniversary of Ustad Binaybanshi Jaldas, the renowned dhol player and legendary folk artist of the subcontinent who received the Ekushey Padak, with due dignity and various programs.
The meeting was held at the organization's head office on the second floor of Shaon Market, adjacent to the Petan Aulia Shrine Gate of Boalkhali Municipality on Friday.
The meeting was chaired by Ranu Majumdar, acting president of the Binoybanshi Shilpi Gosthi, and moderated by Biplob Jaldas, founder executive director and general secretary of the organization.
The meeting discussed in detail various important issues including overall preparation of the program, venue management, cultural performances, guest reception and responsibilities of volunteers to successfully and orderly complete the upcoming birthday celebration. At the same time, emphasis was laid on distributing the assigned responsibilities among the concerned and completing the overall preparation of the program quickly.
The meeting was addressed by the organization's Joint General Secretary Bakul Barua, Treasurer Kalipada Das, Co-Treasurer Mahfuz Rocky, Organizing Secretary Md. Eskander, Cultural Secretary Bidhan Das, Literary Affairs Secretary Teacher Pradul Kanti Dey, Office Secretary Dr. Shyama Prasad Dasgupta, Executive Members Sajeeb Chowdhury, Arpita Ghosh and Md. Riaz, along with the leaders of the organization.
