Noakhali DB Police rewarded for successful anti-drug drive

The Detective Branch (DB) of Noakhali District Police has been rewarded for a successful anti-narcotics operation that led to the seizure of 12 kilograms of cannabis and the arrest of an alleged drug peddler.
Noakhali Superintendent of Police NM Nasiruddin handed over a cash reward to DB OC Md Kamrul Islam and his team members on Sunday in recognition of their outstanding performance in combating the local drug trade.
District police officials stated that this success reflects their strict zero-tolerance policy against narcotics. They added that similar operations will continue with the same level of professionalism and dedication in the future to eradicate drugs from the district.
