Nilphamari deed writers submit memo on 7 -point demands

In the name of modernizing the document registration system, the document writers' association of Nilphamari district has submitted a memorandum to the Deputy Commissioner with 7 demands, including not dismissing the document writers, increasing the honorarium per document to a minimum of 5,000 taka, and allowing the formation of a document writers' council.
On Tuesday at around 11:30 am, a protest procession came out from the District Sub-Registrar office premises, went around the city, and went to the Deputy Commissioner's office. The leaders of the association submitted a memorandum.
At this time, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Nuzhat Tasneem Aon accepted the memorandum on behalf of the Deputy Commissioner.
After submitting the memorandum, Nilphamari Document Writers Association President Shafiqul Islam, General Secretary Golam Rabbani, former President Mohammad Abdullah Shah, former General Secretary Harun Ur Rashid, etc. addressed a brief rally in front of the Sub-Registrar's office.
The speakers said that if their just demands are not implemented immediately, they will call for strict programs, including a nationwide strike.
