Newly appointed SP Abu Ashraf interacts with journalists in Pabna

New Superintendent of Police (SP) Mr. Abu Ashraf interacted with journalists in Pabna. The meeting will be held at 12:00 am on Thursday at the Pabna Press Club auditorium.
The meeting discussed in detail various aspects of the overall improvement of the law and order situation in the district, the creation of a drug-free society, the reduction of traffic congestion, and the prevention of social crimes through objective journalism.
In his speech as the chief guest, the newly appointed Superintendent of Police, Mr. Abu Ashraf, said, "The police administration will not make any concessions to keep Pabna district crime-free, safe and peaceful. Police and journalists are the mirror of society. If journalists help the police with objective information, it will be much easier to suppress any crime. We are committed to delivering police services to the doorsteps of the people."
In his welcome speech at the event, Pabna Press Club General Secretary Zahurul Islam said, "The Pabna journalist community will extend maximum support to the police administration in any constructive work to maintain the tradition and peaceful environment of Pabna. I hope that the law and order situation in the district will be further strengthened under the capable leadership of the new Superintendent of Police."
Senior journalists of Pabna Press Club, representatives of various print and electronic media and senior officials of the district police were present at the exchange of views. In the open discussion, the journalists highlighted various problems and expectations of the district and the Superintendent of Police assured to take effective steps to solve them immediately.
