New Khagrachhari Hill Dist Chairman Mrasathwai Marma greeted by people from all walks of life in Ramgarh

Newly appointed Chairman Mrasathwai Marma was showered with warm welcome and love on his way back to the district from Dhaka after assuming office as the new Chairman of Khagrachhari Hill District Council.
On Thursday morning, as he entered Khagrachhari by road from Dhaka, he was showered with floral greetings from people from all walks of life, from Ramgarh, a border area of the district, to his residence in the district headquarters.
After crossing the Fatikchhari border, he was spontaneously welcomed by the local people from all walks of life at various important points including Ramgarh, Jaliapara, Guimara, Matiranga and Zeromile in Khagrachari town.
At that time, leaders and activists of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) and its affiliates, local social organizations, conscious civil society, and ordinary people from all walks of life congratulated and wished him with bouquets of flowers.
Exchanging greetings to the leaders, activists and the general public present at the roadshow, the new chairman said, "Your love and trust are the main strength in carrying out my duties. I will continue to work impartially and sincerely for the betterment of every person in the Khagrachari Hill District, maintaining harmony and overall infrastructural development."
The chairman's wife Chingram Marma, District Council members Rumel Marma, Ripple Chakma, and Engineer Kerry Mog were present at the time.
Later, when he reached his residence in Khagrachari Sadar, he was greeted with flowers and felicitations by various levels of the district's social, political and delegation groups. At that time, dignitaries of the area wished the new chairman success and overall peace and prosperity of the district.
