Natun Dhara Bangladesh (NDB) organized day-long street rallies demanding the cancellation of the U.S. trade agreement. The program began at 10:00 a.m. on June 26 from the party's central office on Topkhana Road.

The rallies were led by Momin Mahadi, Chairman of NDB along with Presidium Member and Freedom Fighter Fazlul Haque, Senior Vice Chairman Shanta Farjana, Joint Secretaries General Monir Zaman and Wazed Rana, Joint Organizing Secretaries Aftab Mondol and Humayun Kabir Jibon, Convener of Jatiya Sramik Dhara Babul Mia, Jatiya Dharma Dhara member Ayat Ali Patwari Al Qaderi, Jatiya Shikkha Dhara members Abdur Rahman Howlader and Md. Zaman, Nasirnagar Branch Convener Abdur Ruk, and other party leaders.

Addressing street rallies at Kakrail, Purana Paltan, Motijheel, Shahbagh, and several other locations, Momin Mahadi said that the current trade agreement with the United States was concluded by the interim administration led by Muhammad Yunus. He alleged that the agreement would facilitate the import of pork into Bangladesh, a Muslim-majority country, and criticized several political and religious figures, including Asif Nazrul, Asif Mahmud, Nahid Islam, Hasnat Abdullah, Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr. Shafiq, Mamunul Haque, the Pir of Charmonai, and leaders of Hefazat-e-Islam, for their alleged support of the agreement.

He further stated that although the 11-party alliance, including Jamaat and NCP, secured 74 parliamentary seats following the Anti-Discrimination Movement, they have remained silent on the issue of cancelling the U.S. trade agreement.

Other speakers claimed that every provision of the trade agreement is harmful to Bangladesh's economy.

The leaders also alleged that although the Supreme Court of the United States had invalidated the reciprocal tariff policy, the agreement remained in force in Bangladesh.
