Mymensingh City Corporation distributes cheque worth Tk 71 lakh to 66 religious, social institutions

Mymensingh City Corporation (MCC) distributed checks totaling Tk 71 lakh among 66 religious, educational, and social institutions located within the city corporation area recently.
The financial assistance was provided for project implementation under the Infrastructure Maintenance (TR) program for the fiscal year 2025-2026. The distribution ceremony took place on Monday morning at the Shaheed Shahabuddin Hall auditorium of the City Corporation.
Mymensingh City Corporation Administrator Rokonuzzaman Rokon attended the event as the chief guest and handed over the financial grants to the respective management committee officials of the beneficiary organizations. Under this project allocation, grants were handed over to 42 mosques, 14 madrasas, 5 temples, 2 schools, 2 local clubs, and 1 orphanage to support their infrastructural developments.
The check distribution ceremony was also attended by MCC Chief Executive Officer Sumona Al Majid, Regional Executive Officer Fouzia Nazneen, Chief Health Officer Dr. HK Debnath, Superintending Engineer Zahurul Haque, and Administrative Officer Jahangir Alam, among other corporate officials and community representatives.
