Natore Municipalit takes various programs to prevent dengue

Mosquito eradication activities are underway in Natore, along with a cleanliness drive, as part of a three-month special program to prevent dengue in the municipality area.
Natore Municipality Administrator and Deputy Director of Local Government Department Md. Shamim Hossain supervised the activities at the Natore Press Club area on Saturday and provided necessary directions.
Later, he observed cleaning activities in the city's Neechabazar, Chitalgari Drain in Alaipur, Bara Harishpur, and Madrasa Mor areas.
As part of the cleaning activities, drains are being cleaned, mosquito control activities are being carried out using fogger machines, and grass, bushes, and jungles are being removed in nine wards of Natore Municipality with the help of municipal officials and employees and cleaning workers .
The administrator of Natore Municipality said that dengue prevention activities have been vigorously being conducted in the municipality area for the past three weeks. Our goal is to create public awareness. If the residents of the municipality are aware, the risk of contracting dengue fever will be reduced through a clean environment.
