Mirzapur Upazila Chhatra Dal leader dies , family members claim unusual death

Allegations of unusual death of Jahangir Alam (35), Senior Joint convener of Mirzapur Upazila Chhatra Dal, have been raised. His family members claimed that his nose was bleeding at the time of his death.
He died on Thursday night at his in-laws' home in Khalpar village of Medi area of Kaliakair upazila in Gazipur district.
Jahangir is the son of Amjad Hossain of Syedpur village of Gorai union of Alam upazila.
Jahangir's uncle Aminul Islam said that there was talk of marriage between Jahangir Alam and his cousin Shifa Aktar in the family last Ramadan. Meanwhile, Shifa left with another boy. Father Salahuddin found the girl and brought her home. In the meantime, Shifa poisoned the house once. However, three months ago, Jahangir married Shifa and lived in his in-laws' house. Jahangir died unexpectedly at his in-laws' home on Thursday night.
After getting the news, Jahangir's family members went to Saladin's house. His nose was bleeding and his family claimed his death was unusual. Jahangir's family informed the police.
Mirzapur Upazila BNP Organizing Secretary DM Shafiqul Islam Farid said Jahangir Alam is handsome and a good boy. I was saddened to hear about his death at such a young age. I demand a fair investigation in this incident.
OC of Kaliakair police station of Gazipur Riyad Mahmud said, I have come to know about the matter.
