Great Martyrs and International Mother Language Day was observed with due dignity in Naikhongchari Upazila of hill district Bandarban with the participation of all levels.

To celebrate the day, people from all walks of life paid their respects by offering wreaths at the altar of Shahid Minar of Naikhongchari Upazila Sadar at 12:01 PM.

He paid tribute to the language martyrs by offering wreaths at the altar. Later, police gave state salute to the martyrs.

Also, to observe the day, the national flag is kept at half-mast in public and private institutions at sunrise, participation in Prabhat Feri and 135 contestants from 78 primary and higher secondary public and private educational institutions participate in drawing and writing competitions and discussion meetings by the upazila administration along with various programs including cultural programs in the evening. has been arranged.
