Martyrs' Day, International Mother Language Day celebrated in Kathalia

A discussion meeting was held at the Upazila Auditorium on Saturday, organized by the Kathalia Upazila Administration, on the occasion of the great Martyrs' Day and International Mother Language Day.
The meeting was chaired by Upazila Executive Officer Md. Maqbul Hossain, and the newly elected MP of Jhalakathi-1 (Kathalia-Rajapur) constituency and BNP's central religious affairs officer Rafiqul Islam Jamal was the chief guest.
The speeches were made by Police Station Officer-in-Charge (Investigation) Haran Chandra Pal, Upazila Health and P.P. Officer Dr. Taposh Kumar Talukder, Upazila Family Planning Officer Md. Abu Sufian, Upazila Youth Development Officer Md. Kamrul Islam, Upazila Muktijoddha Command Coordinator Bir Muktijoddha Md. Fazlul Haque Mridha, Upazila BNP Acting President Md. Jalalur Rahman Akon, Natharan Secretary Md. Akhtar Hesen Nizam Mirbahor, etc. Upazila Animal Resources Officer Dr. HM Jamshed Azad.
Other activities on the day included laying wreaths at the Upazila Central Shaheed Minar at 12:01 am and distribution of prizes among the winners of the event.
