Kushtia District Police holds meeting with bus owners, workers

A discussion meeting was held between the Kushtia District Police and the leaders of the Kushtia Bus-Minibus Owners Association and Bus-Minibus Workers’ Union on Monday.
The meeting was held under the direction of Kushtia District Police Superintendent Md. Aminul Islam.
During the meeting, the leaders of the transport organizations were urged to take necessary measures to prevent misinformation, passenger harassment, and any irregularities related to the recent increase in fuel prices.
The police also warned transport owners and workers against indiscriminate parking of buses and minibuses along roadsides, particularly at night.
The meeting emphasized maintaining discipline on the roads, ensuring passenger safety, and maintaining a peaceful environment in the transport sector through cooperation between the police and transport organizations.
OC of Kushtia Model Police Station Mohammad Zakir Hossain, along with leaders of the Bus-Minibus Owners Association and Bus-Minibus Workers’ Union, attended the meeting.
The participants expressed their commitment to working together to maintain discipline in the transport sector and protect the interests of ordinary passengers.
