Krishi Bank rally, gathering in Satkhira to build cashless Bangladesh

With the theme 'Transactions are going cashless, Bangladesh is moving forward', a rally and awareness gathering was held in Satkhira to increase the use of Bangla QR codes and make customers aware. The Satkhira branch of Bangladesh Krishi Bank organized the program.
Krishi Bank, Satkhira Main Region Chief Regional Manager SMA Qayyum, Assistant General Manager Md. Ruhul Quddus and Satkhira Branch Manager Md. Abdus Selim were present at the gathering and rally.
Speaking at the event, Chief Regional Manager SMA Qayyum said, "One of the prerequisites for building a smart Bangladesh is to make transactions cashless. Through the Bangla QR code, customers of any bank can easily make secure and fast transactions. Krishi Bank is working tirelessly to bring this technology to the marginalized level."
Assistant General Manager Md. Ruhul Quddus said in his speech, "Banks are now offering various benefits to customers to avoid the risk of cash and encourage digital transactions. If the use of Bangla QR increases, the country's economy will become more dynamic."
Satkhira Branch Manager Md. Abdus Selim told the customers present, "Our goal is not just to provide banking facilities, but also to introduce customers to modern technology. From now on, all types of transactions, starting from retail purchases, can be made easy and secure through smartphones."
The event was attended by, among others, CRM office officials, Satkhira branch officials and employees, bank customers, and local dignitaries.
