Kandirpar-Dharampur road in Cumilla in poor condition: Passengers, pedestrians suffering

AM Kandirpar-Dharampur road in Cumilla is in poor condition The condition of Kandirpar Dharmapur road, the heart of Cumilla metropolis, is so bad that pedestrians and commuters are suffering. Even though 6 days have passed since Rimal was struck on May 27, the poor condition of this road in Cumilla has not yet been resolved.

The rain water has accumulated in the potholes and turned into puddles. Somewhere, water and mud accumulate in the pits, which is causing the suffering of the city dwellers. But despite the poor condition of the road for a long time, the administration did not budge. But thousands of people are traveling on this important road every day with suffering.

Every day, thousands of students pass through this road to the traditional Vidyapith Cumilla Victoria College, Cumilla Modern Primary School and Modern High School, Farida Vidyatan, RR International School, Cumilla Law College, Rani Bazar, Railway Station, Shimangacha Bus Terminal, Dhaka Chittagong Highway connection road Jagurjuli area people.

By traveling A student Farooq Ahmed of degree branch of Victoria College said, I used to come and go to Kandirpar on this road for a long time. People have to come and go through this road with suffering. But I have traveled on most of the roads in the city and I do not remember that there is any other road in the city like this road.

Every day various professional people including college students are suffering from coming and going on this road. Rickshaw driver Matiur Rahman said, I drive a rickshaw on this road all day. Although the whole road is good, here it really gets bad. Because after coming here, the wheel of the rickshaw is stuck in the hole and does not want to rise again.

Later I had to get down in the muddy water to pick up the rickshaw. No one sees our pain. what will happen by talking Salim Miah, a floating cloth shopkeeper on the side of the road, said that the water is still standing after the cyclone. Here many rickshaws, autoroxys get lost in mud water. The water has now subsided a little. Earlier there was more water.

The water has dried up in the sun for a few days. Many a times when the pedestrians are walking along the road, the muddy water of the road gets splashed on the people and the clothes get muddy and ruined. In this regard, the Executive Engineer of Cumilla City Corporation Md. Abu Sayem Bhuiyan said that the road leading from Kandirpar to Dharmapur is undergoing drain work due to which the road has not been repaired. The drain work is almost at the final stage. The road will be renovated before Eid-ul-Azha.
