Kala Shaheed, who attacked female PIO in Raozan arrested

Police arrested the attacker of Raozan Upazila Project Implementation Officer (PIO) Ayesha Siddika 8 hours after the incident. His name is Shaheed Islam alias Kala Shaheed. He introduced himself as the leader of the BNP' youth wing Jubo Dal. This was confirmed by Raozan Police Station OC Monirul Islam Bhuiyan on Wednesday afternoon.
According to Raozan Police sources, a group of police arrested him from the municipality area on Tuesday night.
He is the son of the late Madul Driver of Sharif Bari in Shah Nagar village, Ward No. 07 of Rauzan Municipality. Last Tuesday afternoon, Shaheed went to the office of Raozan Upazila Project Implementation Officer Ayesha Siddika and tried to kill her by hitting her on the head with a chair and vandalizing the furniture in the office. Shahid fled when the upazila administration heard the sound of vandalism. The woman project officer filed a complaint with the police station and was arrested.
OC of Raozan Police Station Monirul Islam Bhuiyan said, Shahid, who was involved in the attack on the PIO, was arrested and handed over to the court.
