Sunflower Field Day in Shyamnagar

Sunflower Crop Field Day was organized on Monday at Shamnagar Upazila Agriculture Extension Department of Satkhira.
Shyamnagar UNO Rani Khatun addressed the chief guest on the field day under Small Holder Agriculture Committee Project, set up in Deoldia village of Bhurulia UP. In the chief guest, he addressed the important role of the farmers in the development of agriculture with the benefits of sunflower.
Upazila Agriculture Officer Nazmul Huda presided over the special guest Upazila Ac land Abdullaho Al Rifat at the function. Deputy Assistant Agriculture Officer Mohiuddin Ghazi, Farmer Rezaul Karim, Fazlul Haque spoke.
It is learnt that two varieties of sun -oriented crops have been cultivated on 17 bighas of land. The farmers of the cultivated farmers can get the Hysson-33 varieties of 12 mon and sun-oriented barber 8 mon crop per bigha land.
