Justice for all past atrocities to be ensured under existing legal framework: State Minister Mir Helal

State Minister for Land and Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs Barrister Mir Mohammad Helal Uddin has said that justice for all enforced disappearances, killings over the past 17 years, and the atrocities of the July–August mass uprising will be ensured through the country's existing legal framework.
Speaking as the chief guest at a discussion titled "Fascism, the July Revolution, and Today's Bangladesh" at the Chittagong Press Club on Friday, the state minister highlighted his prolonged resistance against past authoritarian rule.
The event, jointly organized by the Chittagong Press Club and the Chittagong Metropolitan Union of Journalists, was attended by local journalists and dignitaries.
