July Uprising Day celebrated in Dinajpur with various programs

The July Uprising Day was celebrated in Dinajpur through various programs. On the occasion of the day, various day-long programs were organized by the district administration.
On Wednesday at 10 am, tributes were paid to the martyrs of the July Uprising by placing wreaths at the July Memorial in Dinajpur.
The program included laying wreaths at the July Memorial, welcoming family members of July martyrs and July warriors, discussion meetings, special prayers and supplications at various religious places of worship for the forgiveness of the souls of the martyrs, writing, recitation and painting competitions, graffiti, light painting exhibitions, and memorial meetings at various educational institutions.
At this time, Dinajpur-3 (Sadar) constituency MP Syed Jahangir Alam, District Administration officials and employees led by Deputy Commissioner Rafiqul Islam, District Police officials and employees led by Superintendent of Police Zedan Al Musa, District Council Administrator Advocate Mofazzal Hossain Dulal, District Freedom Fighters Association leaders, July fighters and their family members, leaders of various political parties including BNP, Jamaat-e-Islami, NCP and others paid tribute to the martyrs by placing wreaths separately.
In addition, separately, Bangladesh Wheat and Maize Research Institute Director General Dr. Mahfuz Bajaj led a wreath-laying ceremony to pay tribute to the martyrs.
After the wreath-laying ceremony, a discussion was held at the Dinajpur Shishu Academy auditorium highlighting the significance of the day.
