July Martyrs' Day observed in Natore

July Martyrs' Day was observed in Natore on Thursday with due respect.
The day's programs began in the morning when Natore Deputy Commissioner Asma Shahin, accompanied by members of martyrs' families, alongside leaders from the BNP and Jamaat-e-Islami, placed floral wreaths and offered prayers at the July Martyrs' Memorial at Bhabaniganj Mor in the town.
Later, a commemorative discussion meeting was hosted at the Deputy Commissioner's conference room at around 10:00 AM, presided over by DC Asma Shahin.
The discussion featured speeches from Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Abul Hayat, Additional Superintendent of Police Md. Iftekhar Alam, Civil Surgeon Dr. Mashiur Rahman, District Agricultural Extension Officer Md. Habibul Islam Khan, and District Fisheries Officer Md. Omar Ali.
Among other speakers were Natore District BNP Member Secretary Asaduzzaman Asad, District Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr. Mir Nurul Islam, Principal Md. Delwar Hossain Khan—father of the July uprising martyr Mikdad Hossain Khan Akib—and Abdul Samad Shishir, the district convener of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement.
