Joint forces recovered huge indigenous weapons in Barishal

In Barishal metropolis, for the first time in a joint operation with Army forces, two people were arrested with indigenous weapons.

Saddam Howladar alias Jamai Russell and Raihan Howladar, residents of the area, were arrested in a special operation by joint forces at Chandmari Colony on the banks of Kirtankhola River on the city's Dam Road on Wednesday evening and a case was filed against them under the existing law.

During this time, the joint forces also recovered a large number of domestic sharp weapons, said OC Inspector Md. Mizanur Rahman of Kotyali police station of BMP. It is said that the members of RAB-8 also participated in the operation of the joint forces, apart from the army and metropolitan police.
