Various vehicles are running at high speed due to lack of speed breakers at some dangerous spots on the Chattogram-Hathazari highway. Pedestrians are crossing the road at risk.

It can be seen on the surface, Chattogram University (CHB) No. 2 Gate and Nandirhat Bazar, Chowdhuryhat have increased road accidents in some places of the highway. Casualties are happening in all these accidents while speeding and overtaking fast cars at different places. If the speed or traffic spots are closed next to the designated place, road accidents and loss of life will be reduced.

The responsible authorities had installed speed breakers especially after several accidents on the highway at the entrance of CHB No. 2 recently. Later, after the road renovation, the speed breakers were removed (by the social authorities), but the speed breakers were not installed again. Many blame the oversight and negligence of the Souza authorities.

Due to the lack of speed breakers, accidents often occur while crossing the highway. Recently f. B. CB teacher Aftab Hossain died in a tragic road accident near road No. 1. After his death, the responsible authorities quickly installed speed breakers on both sides of the highway facing the road there. Currently, the construction of a foot war bridge by closing the pedestrian spaces on the road has facilitated pedestrians and university students coming through the bridge.

On this side, due to the absence of Nandir hat speed breaker on the Chittagong-Hathazari highway, accidents often occur when illegal tractors over take on the highway.

Conscious people demanded that the mentioned dangerous places should be quickly identified and speed breakers should be constructed there.
