 Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami's Central Executive Council member and former acting Secretary General and Jamaat-e-Islami's nominated National Parliament member from Rangpur-2 Badarganj-Taraganj constituency ATM Azharul Islam said  “Jamaat-e-Islami has shown an example of the rule of honest people as directed by the Quran and Sunnah. Even the worst enemies could not find a single corruption in the 5-year rule of the party's two senior leaders in three ministries under the leadership of a microscope.

 If the people give Jamaat-e-Islami the responsibility of running the state in the future, then we will honestly safeguard the people's trust in society and the state in the way Allah has directed.”

He said these  during a road meeting organized by the local union branch in Anantapur area of Kursha union in Taraganj upazila of Rangpur on Tuesday and a public meeting in Dorji Para and Danga Para areas.

Jamaat-e-Islami's Central Executive Council member ATM Azharul Islam held separate road meetings and public meetings organized by the local union branch of Jamaat-e-Islami in these areas of Taraganj upazila from morning to noon. Jamaat-e-Islami's Kursha union branch president Mohammad Mohsenul Haque presided over the official road meeting.

In these rallies and public meetings, Jamaat-e-Islami's Taraganj Upazila Ameer SM Alamgir Hossain, Upazila Secretary Maulana Yakub Ali, Professional President Mohammad Lebu Mia, among others, spoke.

At the rally, ATM Azharul Islam expressed his gratitude to the Almighty Allah and said, "Fascist Sheikh Hasina  kept me in the darkness of prison for 14 years by giving false testimony in a false case. The  fascist Awami League government wanted to remain in power by indiscriminately killing and abducting and torturing many scholars, youth, women and children of the country. Today, the country is free from oppression in exchange for the blood of students and the public.”

 He called on everyone to vote unitedly for the Islamic power in the next election to establish peace and justice in the country and society. He said to the local people, "You have seen many parties in the past. This time, you see Jamaat-e-Islami.
