Jamaat holds discussion with families of July Martyrs in Gaibandha

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, Gaibandha District Branch, organized a discussion and exchange meeting with the families of those who were martyred during the July Mass Uprising on Wednesday afternoon at its district office.
The program was conducted by the Acting District Secretary, Syed Rokonuzzaman. Family members of six martyrs from Gaibandha who lost their lives during the July Revolution attended the meeting. The chief guest was Md. Abdul Karim, MP, Member of the Central Majlis-e-Shura and Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Gaibandha District.
Among those who addressed the gathering were District Assistant Secretary Md. Faisal Kabir Rana, District Executive Council Member Saiful Islam Mondal, Mawlana Saidur Rahman, Municipal Ameer Prof Ferdous Alam, Sadar Upazila Ameer Mawlana Nurul Islam Mondal, Shibir Secretary Fahim Mondal, District Shibir Office Secretary Mizanur Rahman, Masum Mia, Municipal Jamaat Executive Council Member Mawlana Zobayer Ali, Fulchhari Upazila Jamaat Secretary Qari Amjad Hossain, and Sadar Upazila Jamaat leader Nurunnabi Sarkar, among others.
Speaking on behalf of the martyr families, Mosammat Shahina Begum, mother of martyr Sazzad Hossain Sojol, said:
“Insha’Allah, I will fulfill the dream of my beloved son Sojol. Today, disrespectful actions are being carried out regarding the martyrs.
Md. Abdul Karim, MP said, we stood by the July martyrs, we are with them, and we will continue to stand by them. I may not have become the father of a martyr, but my own children were also active in the movement during the revolution.
