
Jamaat extends support to family of youth killed by BSF in Lalmonirhat

In a tragic incident, Hasibul Alam, a young man from Singimari Union under Hatibandha upazila in Lalmonirhat, was brutally killed by members of the Indian Border Security Force (BSF) near the border area on Thursday.
According to locals, BSF personnel allegedly entered Bangladeshi territory, apprehended Hasibul, and shot him in the eye, resulting in his death.
The deceased, Hasibul, was the son of Zahidul Islam from the same union. News of his brutal killing has cast a pall of grief across the area, with his family mourning the devastating loss.
Mohammad Anwarul Islam Raju, Chairman of the Hatibandha-Patgram Development Forum and nominated MP candidate for Lalmonirhat-1 from Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, visited Hasibul’s home to express his condolences.
He offered heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved family, inquired about their well-being, and provided financial assistance. He also assured the family of continued support going forward.
Mohammad Anwarul Islam Raju said, “Ensuring justice for this incident and securing our borders must now be the top priority. We strongly condemn this heinous act and demand accountability and appropriate action from the government.”
