Inter hall handball competition begins at DU

Dhaka University Inter:Hall Handball Competition 2023-2024 started on Tuesday.
University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. ASM Maqsood Kamal inaugurated the competition as the chief guest at the central playground.
Dhaka University Handball Committee President Professor Dr. Acting Director of Physical Education Center of the University in the opening ceremony under the chairmanship of Biman Chandra Bara. Principals of various halls, resident teachers and students were present along with Shahjahan Ali.
Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. ASM Maksud Kamal said, sports are of immense importance to stay physically healthy and healthy. When the body is healthy, the brain is always active and the focus on studies also increases.
Sports is one of the ways to gain mental strength. The Vice-Chancellor urged the players to encourage friends, classmates and others to participate in sports regularly to protect mental and physical health.
