Taapsee Rani, Assistant Teacher (Bangla) of Kalagachiya Abdul Gani Dakhil Madrasa, made such remarks while teaching eighth grade students of the Madrasa. There is anger in the area over this incident. Students, teachers, parents and local residents have demanded the teacher's punishment. On Thursday, Amtali Upazila Nirbahi Officer Muhammad Ashraful Alam gave a show cause notice to the teacher.

It is reported that in 2021, Taapsee Rani joined Kalagachia Abdul Gani Dakhil Madrasa in Gulishakhali Union of Amtali Upazila as a teacher of Bengali subject through NTRC. The teachers and students of the madrasa have alleged that since joining, he has been insulting various issues of Islam in the class room. Last Wednesday, he was teaching Bengali subject in the eighth grade class of the madrasa. At that time, he said to the students, "The Allah that you are chanting, there is no such thing as Allah." Eighth grade students of madrasa, Neshar Uddin, Md. Naeem, Riamni and Hafsa said that the teacher of Bengali subjects, Taapsee Rani, often ridicules Islam during the class room. Last Wednesday, during the Bengali class, he said, Look how the Muslims are vandalizing the temples. At this time, the students said, why do you Muslims vandalize the temple? At this time he said angrily, do you understand? You have nothing to say about Allah, there are many mistakes in the Qur'an. Madrasa assistant teacher Haroon Or Rashid said that since Taapsee Rani came to the madrasa, she has insulted Islam several times. That's what I thought then. But now I see that he is insulting Allah, the Prophet and the Qur'an. I demand punishment for such incidents.
Maulana Md Shahidul Islam, co-superintendent of the madrasa, demanded his punishment and said that he had been banned several times for insulting Islam. But he doesn't agree.
Teacher Taapsee Rani said, I made a mistake. I am sick so I went to class and said some wrong things about Allah, Prophet and Quran. He also said, I don't know much about religion. I said not knowing. I apologize to everyone.
Superintendent of madrasa Maulana Abu Zafar said that the teacher Taapsee Rani has admitted the mistake. Still, the matter has been reported to the Madrasah Committee. They will take action against him.

UNO Muhammad Ashraful Alam said that the teacher has been given a show cause notice. Strict action will be taken against him if he does not give satisfactory reply.

Allegation against Aaltali Upazila Assistant Education Officer for collctung money in school slips

It has been alleged that Taltali Upazila Assistant Education Officer Md Al Amin took the money for the primary school slips. Upazila primary school teachers have complained. The teachers demanded a quick investigation and action against the Upazila Assistant Education Officer.

It has been reported that the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education has allocated Tk 50,000 to 2,50,000 per school depending on the student to spend on various sectors including government primary school teaching materials, purchase of school furniture, sewage disposal.

In the financial year 2023-24, a total of Tk 40 lakh 30 was allocated to 79 government primary schools of Taltali upazila. That money was released last May. It is alleged that Taltali Upazila Assistant Education Officer Al Amin took a bribe of two rupees from the allocated money of those 79 schools. There is anger among the teachers in the incident of taking such a bribe by the Assistant Education Officer.

There are also allegations that the assistant education officer is being harassed in various ways if the assistant education officer is not bribed. They demanded to investigate and take necessary action against the assistant education officer who accepted such bribe. He is accused of misbehaving with teachers.
Teacher Laili Begum's husband Mahabub Alam Tuhin said that the upazila assistant education officer misbehaved with my wife Laili Begum. He also misbehaved with me when I protested. I demand his punishment subject to investigation in this incident.

Some teachers who did not wish to be named said that the education office is a factory of irregularities. Nothing works in the Taltali Education Office without bribes. Upazila Assistant Education Officer Al Amin understands nothing but Ghus. He harassed the teachers in various ways if they did not bribe him.

Subhankar Chandra Adhikari, headmaster of Harinbaria Government Primary School and Md Altaf Hossain Mobarak, headmaster of Chhota Anbujanpara Government Primary School, said that the education office had to pay a bribe to collect the slip money.

Taltali Upazila Assistant Education Officer Al Amin denied accepting bribe and said, I am Assistant Education Officer, how come there is no bribe in my slip money?

Barguna District Education Officer Abu Saleh said, if complaints are received, necessary measures will be taken.

Taltali Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mosa Umme Chalma said that the matter will be investigated and necessary measures will be taken.
