Illegal gas line beside govt food warehouse at Kaliakair disconnected

An Illegal gas line more than 100 meter is set up touching government food warehouse boundary at Kaliakair in Gazipur without following any rules and regulations by a local resident named Aminul Islam (40) has been disconnected on Sunday.
Local people informed the matter to UNO and he visited the spot and informed Area Officer of Titash Gas, then Zonal Office Assistant Engineer Masud Bin Yousuf reached the spot and disconnected the illegal gas line and took away the instruments.
UNO Kawser Ahmed said, they visited the spot and took the initiative to take off the illegal gas line instantly. He said appropriate action will be taken in this regard. Milon Mia, OC ( Local Supply Depot) in- charge of Kaliakair Upazila Food Warehouse was asked to know if there is any risk to the warehouse by cutting the road in front of the boundary wall and the main gate of the food warehouse.
Kaliakair UNO Kawser Ahmed said, the illegal gas line area was visited after receiving the information in the morning.
He ensured that legal action will be taken in this regard.
