ICT Minister emphasizes strengthening Bangladesh-Australia coop in tech, science sectors

Minister for Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology, and Science and Technology Fakir Mahboob Anam MP highlighted the necessity of expanding mutual cooperation and knowledge exchange to solidify bilateral ties between Bangladesh and Australia.
The Minister made these remarks during a bilateral discussion with Australian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Susan Ryle at the ICT Tower in Agargaon, Dhaka, on Thursday.
Addressing the meeting, Minister Fakir Mahboob Anam emphasized that substantial opportunities exist for bilateral collaboration across information technology, telecommunications, science, technology, and innovation. He noted that amidst rapid technological advancements, international partnerships, knowledge transfer, and skilled human resource development remain essential, adding that Australia's domain expertise could significantly benefit Bangladesh's tech infrastructure.
Australian High Commission First Secretary (Political) Harry Thompson was also present during the courtesy call.
