BCS (Postal) Association newly- elected committee greets ICT Minister

Members of the newly elected executive committee of the BCS (Postal) Association met with Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology Minister Faqir Mahbub Anam at his ICT Division office in Dhaka on October 19, 2026, presenting him with a floral bouquet during a courtesy call.
During the meeting, the association leadership and the Minister discussed strategies for the modernization, expansion, and development of the Bangladesh Post Office.
Addressing the executive members, Minister Faqir Mahbub Anam described the postal department as a vital public service institution. He emphasized the necessity of leveraging modern digital technologies to make postal services more efficient, reliable, and citizen-friendly.
In response, association leaders pledged to work actively toward service modernization and skill development.
Director General of the Directorate of Posts Kazi Asadul Islam and members of the newly elected committee were present at the event.
