
Half-melted body of unidentified youth recovered from Suryoday Point on Kuakata Beach

Police recovered the half-melted body of an unidentified man from Suryoday Point in the Gangamati area of the Bay of Bengal adjacent to Kuakata in Patuakhali.
Naval police recovered the body after receiving information from locals around 10 am on Monday.
The deceased is estimated to be 35 years old. He was found wearing black shorts and a red T-shirt when the body was recovered. However, his identity has not yet been confirmed.
Kuakata Naval Police Station SI Moniruzzaman said, "Based on information provided by locals, a half-dissolved body of a person was recovered from Gangamati. Initially, it is believed that the body had floated into the sea and got stuck in the char."
Local small businessman Zahirul said, "When I went to open my shop in the sea in the morning, I saw the body floating. I later informed the police."
Kuakata Naval Police Outpost In-charge Bikash Mandal said that the body of an unidentified person has been recovered from Gangamati in Kuakata. The process of taking legal action in this regard is underway.
