Govt. plans radical reforms to modernize edn : Special Assistant to Education Adviser

Special Assistant to the Education Adviser Professor M Aminul Islam was present as the chief guest in the exchange meeting held with the teachers at Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmad Senate Bhavan of Rajshahi University (RU ) on
Thursday.
The chief guest said that the government is planning radical reforms to modernize education. For that purpose, the work of involving all those related to education is going on. To link the ongoing fourth industrial revolution to the development of Bangladesh, a skilled population educated in modern education is needed. He expressed hope that our academic teachers and researchers will play an appropriate role in formulating plans so that our education system can meet those needs. In his speech, he mentioned the government's plan to meet the needs of new infrastructure including development of existing infrastructure in educational institutions.
In the President's speech, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Saleh Hasan Naqeeb said that education is a field that needs experienced people in planning and development. The education sector needs to be promoted by recruiting qualified people for teaching and university administration. Rabir drew the attention of the relevant authorities by mentioning various relevant issues including further development in the field of education and research.
Later, in the open exchange phase, when the attention of the Special Assistant of Education Advisor was drawn for cooperation in various professional matters, he assured to take necessary advice and appropriate measures in that regard. In the meeting Rabi Vice-Chancellor (Admin ) Prof Mohammad Main Uddin, Vice-Chancellor (Edn ) Professor Moha. Farid Uddin Khan, and treasurer Prof. Md. Matiar Rahman spoke. It is to be noted that RU Vice-Chancellor gave a memento to the Chief Guest in the event.
