Fugitive accused of murder case of housewife arrested in Galachipa

Police arrested the main suspect Mohammad Ghiyas Pada (50) in the anonymous case of slitting the throat of the sensational housewife Khadija Begum in Patuakhali on Tuesday morning.
On the basis of secret information, he was arrested by the police from Charakpalbera village of isolated Charkajal union of the upazila. Later, Galachipa was brought to police station.
OC of Galachipa Police Station Ashadur Rahman said that various cases, including the sensational Khadija murder case, are being looked at seriously. Accordingly, at one stage of the investigation, Giyas Pada, the son of deceased Belayet Hossain Pada, the main suspect in the case, was arrested and handed over to the court. Later the learned court ordered the accused to be sent to jail.
It is to be noted that on the morning of August 21, Khadija Begum, a housewife, was brutally killed by slitting her throat in her house in North Charbiswam village of Charbiswam union. The husband of the housewife who died in this incident.
Manik Pada filed an anonymous murder case at Galachipa police station that day as the plaintiff. Police arrested the main accused after three months of the incident. At that time, a sensation was created in the area about this mysterious incident.
