Free seeds, fertilizer distributed in Kapasia.

Free mustard seeds and chemical fertilizers have been distributed to small and marginal farmers of rabi season under Agricultural Incentive Program (2024-25) in Kapasia, Gazipur. Seeds and fertilizers were officially distributed on Monday morning at the Upazila Parishad auditorium.
UNO AKM Lutfar Rahman spoke as the chief guest at the event under the chairmanship of Upazila Agricultural Extension Officer Sumon Komar Basak, organized by the Directorate of Agriculture Kapasia, keeping in view 'Agricultural Prosperity'. Senior Upazila Fisheries Officer Mohammad Ashraf Ullah, Livestock Officer Dr. AKM Atiqur Rahman, Upazila Rural Development Officer Dilara Akhtar Moni Fakir, Kapasia Press Club President Journalist FM Kamal Hossain, Farmer Representative and Ideal Farmer Organizer Kamruzzaman spoke under the direction of Deputy Assistant Agriculture Officer Zahid Akander Sabur and Sub-Assistant Agriculture Iqbal Hossain.
This year, 1 kg of Bari-17 mustard seeds, 10 kg of DAP fertilizer, 10 kg of MOP fertilizer were distributed among 600 farmers in different areas of the upazila. The agriculture office said that wheat, onion and mung bean seeds will be distributed in stages.
