Four arrested with weapons in Army operation in Boalkhali
Boalkhali (Ctg) Correspondent-
Shahidul Alam (38), Md. Alam Nannu (40), Zubaid Akbar (26) and Md. Morshed (47) were arrested with domestic weapons on Friday at around 4 am from Sripur Kharan Deep area of the upazila.
Special operation was conducted led by Lt Colonel Salah Uddin Al Mamun
At this time 4 round rifle amonition, 10 round shotgun ammunition, 3 passports, 25 mobile phones, 21 domestic weapons and 1 lakh 76 thousand 4 hundred 25 were seized.
Lt. Colonel Md. Salah Uddin Al Mamun said, they have been involved in terrorist activities in the area for a long time, including drug trade, extortion and illegal sand lifting in the Kharan Deep area. The seized goods and the accused were handed over to Boalkhali police station.
