A farewell reception for Upazila Youth Development Officer Md. Shahjahan was held in Tongibari, Munshiganj at Upazila Parishad auditorium on Sunday at 4 pm at the initiative of the Upazila administration.
UNO Md. Mostafizur Rahman presided over the program. Upazila Engineer Shah Moazzem Hossain, Fisheries Officer Nigar Sultana, Dhipur Union Parishad Chairman Akhter Hossain Molla, officials of various upazila departments, public representatives, journalists and representatives of local youth organizations were present.
At the end of the ceremony, the guests presented the outgoing officer with a crest and a memento. Later, prayers were offered for his long life and success.
