Bangladesh Computer Council Executive Director Ranjit Kumar said, starting from the court, banking sector, we have to sign in many areas in our office activities. But we often lose their authentication; Many people sign but later deny it and it is difficult to prove in court whether he actually signed.

Once e-signature is introduced there will be no opportunity to deny signature; Because the signer will provide his signature from his personal ID.

He said these things in the chief guest's speech at the workshop titled 'Usage of E-Signature in Building Smart Bangladesh' held at Bangladesh Computer Council Rajshahi Regional Office on Monday (April 29) morning. Rajshahi BCC organized this workshop.

Ranjit Kumar said, "We have spent a time laughing about digital Bangladesh." But we have a big achievement in this area. As digital platforms have evolved, crime, especially cybercrime, has also increased.

Executive director of BCC said that the security system should be well ensured for the cashless transactions that have been mentioned in the smart economy of Smart Bangladesh, and e-signature will be required for this security. He emphasized on certificate authentication to prevent fake certificates of students.

Regional Director of Rajshahi BCC, Sanat Kumar Das, spoke in the workshop, among others, Rajshahi Divisional Commissioner Dr. Dewar Muhammad Humayun Kabir, Secretary of BCC Md. Zakir Hossain, Director of BCC Dr. Ashok Kumar Roy and others.

The workshop provides an understanding of e-signature security measures and its usage. Earlier, a discrediting meeting was held at the same place with the participation of various participants.
