The university administration has announced the start date of application for the admission test for the undergraduate class of 2023-24 academic year in Dhaka University. The application for admission will start from December 18 and end on January 5.

Besides, this year's admission examination will begin on February 23, 2024 through the examination of the Faculty of Arts, Law and Social Sciences.

These decisions were made in the meeting of the admission examination committee of the university on Tuesday afternoon. Professor Mostafizur Rahman, convenor of online admission committee of Dhaka University confirmed all this information to this correspondent.

Professor Mostafizur Rahman said that the admission test of arts, law and social science unit on February 23, business education unit on February 24, science unit on March 1 and fine arts unit on March 9 will be held. Moreover, all the rules of the admission test i.e. application eligibility, section change, question paper and mark distribution will remain unchanged as before.

As per earlier rules, admission test will be conducted in Dhaka University through written and MCQ method. MCQ exam of 60 marks and written exam of 40 marks will be conducted in science, arts, law and social science and business education units. Time duration for both the exams will be 45 minutes.

MCQ examination of 40 (General Knowledge) marks and written examination of 60 (Matriculation) marks will be held in Fine Arts Unit. Time for Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) will be 30 minutes and time for written will be 60 minutes.

Like last year, the admission test will be held in seven divisional cities including Dhaka.
