Bangladesh pace bowling coach Allan Donald told his charges that he won’t continue his job after the ongoing ICC World Cup.
The South African legend disclosed his decision during a team meeting in Pune on Thursday.
“Yes, he informed that he will not carry on with us after this World Cup during the team meeting,” a BCB official confirmed to The Daily Sun.
The former South African pacer was appointed last year during the T20 World Cup and later his contract was extended until November 30, 2023.
Donald recently took a swipe at skipper Shakib Al Hasan after he appealed for ‘timed out’ against Angelo Mathews during their game against Sri Lanka in Delhi on November 6.
The BCB later insisted that they would seek an explanation from him after the World Cup.
