
DIG Ashfaqul Alam in Mirzapur : Police must perform their duties with professionalism to protect human rights

DIG of Police and Commandant of Mahera Police Training Center (PTC) in Tangail, Mohammad Ashfaqul Alam said that the police must perform their duties with utmost professionalism to protect human rights.
He said this in his speech as the chief guest at the closing parade of the mandatory training of the 22nd batch of Divisional Cadets (SI) on Wednesday morning.
Additional DIG Mohammad Mahfuzur Rahman, Tangail Superintendent of Police Mohammad Mizanur Rahman, senior police officers, journalists and the public were present. Mohammad Ashfaqul Alam said, 'The police are having to face new challenges as the nature of crime is constantly changing due to the impact of globalization and misuse of technology. Therefore, one has to establish oneself as a successful investigative officer by solving the mystery of any crime, identifying the culprit, and controlling crime. Along with this, one has to perform one's duties with the utmost professionalism in protecting human rights.
The chief guest presented awards to the 3 best cadets who participated in the training. 276 departmental cadets in the 22nd batch participated in the parade. The guests enjoyed the parade.
