DC Gold Cup Football Tournament kicks off in Mymensingh

The Deputy Commissioner Gold Cup Football Tournament, jointly organized by the Mymensingh Deputy Commissioner and the District Sports Association, was officially inaugurated on the afternoon of August 26 at the Mymensingh Stadium.
Abu Wahab Akand Wahid, Member of Parliament for the Mymensingh Sadar-4 constituency, inaugurated the tournament as the chief guest, while Mymensingh Divisional Commissioner SM Humayun Kabir Sarkar presided over the opening ceremony.
The inaugural event witnessed a notable gathering of dignitaries, including Mymensingh Sadar MP Md. Kamrul Hasan Milon, Mymensingh Development Authority Chairman Motahar Hossain Talukder, Mymensingh Range DIG Mohammad Zahidul Hasan, District Sports Association Member Secretary AKM Mahbubul Alam and Member Enamul Haque Akand Liton, and Mymensingh District Sports Officer Md. Al Amin as special guests.
Mymensingh Deputy Commissioner and District Sports Association President Md. Saifur Rahman delivered the welcome speech to set off the tournament. The highly anticipated final match of the Deputy Commissioner Gold Cup Football Tournament is scheduled to take place on September 4.
