Under the leadership of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, the work of implementing public welfare and development-oriented programs at all levels of the country is being taken forward, said Minister for Social Welfare and Women and Children Affairs Professor Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain.

He made this statement while speaking as the chief guest at a workers' conference and exchange of views organized by the BNP at Khatta Madhabpara Union No. 1 in Hakimpur Upazila of Dinajpur on Saturday at 11:30 am.

The minister said that all kinds of government facilities and assistance are being distributed among the common people with complete transparency and accountability. The government is carrying out its activities responsibly in every field to implement the fundamental rights of the people of the country.

He urged leaders and activists to play an important role in increasing the number of BNP workers in every neighborhood, mahalla, ward and union.

He stressed on providing educational assistance to students from poor and socially backward families and distributing government assistance properly. He advised children to be more involved in sports and cultural activities to develop future generations as good citizens.

The meeting, chaired by Union BNP President Md. Shamsul Islam, was also attended by Dinajpur District BNP Senior Vice President Mokarram Hossain, Khatta Madhabpara Union BNP General Secretary Md. Sakhawat Hossain Chowdhury Labu, Upazila BNP President Ferdous Rahman, General Secretary Sakhawat Hossain Shilpi, Hakimpur Municipality BNP President Md. Farid Khan, General Secretary Md. Nazmul Haque, and local leaders and activists of Khatta Madhabpara Union BNP and its affiliated organizations.
