According to Upazila Parishad sources, this market has been organized to give relief to the public from unbridled commodity prices. Various daily products including vegetables, eggs, fish are sold here at affordable prices. Directly the farmer will sell his produce to the consumer. So the price of the product will be lower than the comparable market and the price of the product will be at a tolerable level by breaking the market syndicate.
Buyers said that the prices of some products here are slightly lower than other markets. And the prices of some products are the same as in other markets. But if farmers bring their produce regularly then the price will come down further. We want it to stay on. This market needs to break syndicates.
Rajapur UNO Rahul Chand said that this market has been launched to deliver the produce of farmers directly to the consumer to eliminate syndicates and public suffering.
